We Grow Forest Foundation’s Women’s Day 2024, honouring women from different walks of life, was conducted on March 6, 2024, at the prestigious Hotel Dimora, Thiruvananthapuram. The event was a testament to the strength, resilience, and achievements of diverse and versatile women. The guests were treated to a variety of activities and presentations highlighting the importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Adv. V. K. Prasanth M.L.A, Government of Kerala, delivered an inspiring inaugural address, stressing the importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment. He highlighted the need for inclusive policies and programs to uplift women in education, employment, and leadership roles, urging collective action for a more equitable society.
Women continue to face challenges ranging from wage gaps to lack of representation in leadership roles. This year We Grow Forest champions the cause of women’s empowerment and work towards creating a world where every woman has the opportunity to dream, believe, and achieve.

The Awards Ceremony served as a time to acknowledge the exceptional contributions of women from diverse fields. The awards were presented by cine actress and Big Boss Season 7 contestant Smt. Vichithra, honouring women for their outstanding achievements and contributions. Each recipient exemplified resilience and excellence, inspiring all with their remarkable stories of triumph.
